News and Updates

Overleaf Single Sign-on Enabled

  • MIT Libraries recently enabled single sign-on (SSO) integration with Overleaf (see Overleaf's page on Single Sign-On for more information). Users who have users who have not yet logged in using Institutional SSO will be prompted to link their accounts and authenticate through Touchstone to maintain access to premium account features.

Zotero 7.0

  • Zotero has been completely redesigned for the 7.0 release. Zotero 7.0 now includes support for viewing and annotating EPUBS and snapshots. Annotation tools now include ink and underline capabilities in addition to highlighting. See the Zotero blog post to learn more about all the new features and enhanced functionality.

Unlimited storage for Zotero accounts

  • The Libraries were recently able to purchase a Zotero subscription which provide all MIT users with unlimited storage. The increased storage will be automatically applied if you have a .mit.edu email address affiliated with your account. To add an email address, log into your Zotero account.
